Earthquake Relief,

More than 70 percent of the houses in Nepane VDC in Kavre District have been affected by the earthquake. Temporary shelters of tarps and tents will not withstand the monsoon which drives us to build basics shelters for for those who have lost their homes. We believe that our efforts will help people of at least one village stay safe and protected from the heavy rains and through the bitter cold of the next winter season.
Project cost details
We are planning to build appx. 100 shelter homes ( if the fund is enough ) before monsoon starts
An early costing estimation per shelter will cost Rs. 15000.00 ( equivalent to US$ 150.00 or Euro 140.00 per shelter at present cost)
We will be using local raw materials like stone, Brick, Clay, Bamboo, Wood, Galvanized metal roofing sheet etc..
We will include skilled manpower at our end and will motivate local people to provide labor work from their end.
